The Australian Psychological Society (APS), the nation’s largest professional body for psychologists, has successfully modernised its financial reporting process in partnership with Brennan. By implementing an innovative Power BI solution, APS has drastically reduced manual workloads, enhanced data accuracy, and improved the overall efficiency of its reporting systems.

APS’s outdated reporting system required finance staff to spend up to 2 days each month generating and manually distributing financial reports to 90 member groups. With Brennan’s expertise, APS implemented Power BI paginated reports with dynamic receipt subscriptions, fully automating the generation and distribution process. The result was a streamlined reporting workflow that now takes just 2.5 hours monthly, freeing up valuable resources and eliminating reliance on legacy systems.

The implementation also addressed a key security risk by allowing APS to decommission its unsupported server, aligning with their broader cloud-first transformation strategy.
